Classic Petra was an incarnation of Christian rock band Petra, featuring some of its members from the early 1980's. Several years after the retirement of the original band, some members decided to reunite to play classic songs. Together, they released a studio album, Back to the Rock, in 2010 which featured remade versions of some of their old songs, as well as two new songs.
Classic Petra toured through North America and Europe from 2010 to 2012. In 2011, they released a live version of their album.
