A Dove Award, or simply Dove, is an award given by the Gospel Music Association to recognize musicians, artists, and other people for their outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry. The Dove Awards started on 1969, and have continued to be presented annually, sometimes in a televised ceremony.
Through its career, Petra has been nominated to several Doves, winning ten. Several of its members have also been nominated for their solo efforts.
