Joe Pizzulo (born June 15, 1951; age 72) is an American singer. He provided background vocals on Petra's album Wake-Up Call.

Biography and career[]

Joe Pizzulo attended Ursuline High School in Youngstown, Ohio. After that, he started his music career with a band called Roadshow in 1969. He later became a member of Brainchild. Pizzulo eventually moved to California in 1974 and started a new band called White Licorice. In 1979, he started touring with Alice Cooper as a background singer.

Pizzulo's career took off after his recording of "Never Gonna Let You Go" for Sérgio Mendes. He collaborated with Mendes on several times, and has built a career as a solo and background vocalist.
