On Fire! is the tenth studio album from Christian rock band Petra. It was released in 1988 by Star Song Records. It is the first album to feature bassist Ronny Cates.

Album history

On Fire! was recorded and mixed at Pakaderm Studio in Los Alamitos, California by brothers John and Dino Elefante. Additional recording was done at Woodland Sound Studio in Nashville, Tennessee. Mastering was done at Future Disc Systems by Steve Hall.

Reception

On Fire! was the fifth Petra album to be nominated for a Grammy Award. It was nominated in the category of Best Performance by a Gospel Duo, Group, Choir or Chorus.

On Fire! also won a Dove Award for Best Long Form Music Video.
